Violets are a big favourite for many of us, but this china by Hammersley is very tricky to work with – maybe that’s why I have only made one piece so far! It’s extremely fine bone china and doesn’t seem to want to crack where I need it to. Success at last…
For this pendant, I selected a 25mm circle of the Hammersley Victorian Violets china which was then set into sterling silver. The traditional violet pattern is offset by a modern 18″ snake chain which brings it right up to date.
